Call to submit applications for the implementation of the projects of the European Year for Development 2015 funded by European Commision and Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme

Seeking to increase the European Union’s (EU) public support to the development cooperation policy and engagement in its implementation, the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on 16 of April 2014 adopted the Decision 472/2014/EU designating 2015 as the European Year for Development (EYD2015). To this intent Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania calls to submit applications for the implementation of the projects of the European Year for Development 2015 under the project concepts bellow. Projects are funded by the European Commission and Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme. Indicative amount of support up to 500 000 LTL / 144 810 EUR.

1. European Year for Development 2015: dissemination of information
2. European Year for Development 2015: participate and engage yourself in the development cooperation activities
3. European Year for Development 2015 promotional campaign
4. European Year for Development 2015: the role of media
5. European Year for Development 2015 Goodwill Ambassadors
6. Administration and supervision of European Year for Development 2015 website

Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme is implemented in accordance with the Development Cooperation Guidelines of the Republic of Lithuania for 2014-2016 the policies approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania by the Resolution No. 41 on 15 January 2014.

Information on the submission of applications for projects, selection procedures, implementation and information for providers as well as any other project-related information is available in the Description of Procedure for the Implementation of Development Cooperation Activities by State and Municipal Institutions and Agencies, approved by Resolution  No 278 of the 26 March 2014 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Description of Procedure of the Implementation of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme, established by Order No. V-62 of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania on 17th April 2014.

After being filled, signed and scanned, applications for projects together with scanned attachments shall be sent by e-mail at the address: projektai@urm.lt, or filled and scanned applications for projects together with attachments  shall be sent by registered post or delivered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania at the following address: Development Cooperation Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, J. Tumo-Vaižganto str. 2, LT-01511, Vilnius.
