The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania calls to submit concepts for the implementation of the projects of the 2013 Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme of the Republic of Lithuania in Palestine and Tunisia.
The financing will be provided for the development cooperation and democracy promotion projects that will be in line with the 2013 Lithuanian foreign policy priorities and the Guidelines of the development cooperation policy for 2013.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls for submission of concepts for the implementation of projects in the following countries and in the following areas:
In Palestine (total support is planned up to 25 000 Litas):
- Support to civil society, especially youth initiatives and cooperation in the sphere of science and culture;
In Tunisia (total support is planned up to 25 000 Litas):
- Support for the strengthening of democracy and democratic institutions;
In the EU Eastern Partnership countries (total support is planned up to 100 000 Litas):
- Support to the civil society of the Eastern Partnership countries within the context of the Lithuanian presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Project concepts will be accepted till 15 March 2013.
