Conference, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Lithuanian development cooperation, will take place on the 24 November, 2023 in Vilnius, convening high level experts, diplomats, representatives of the EU and international organisations to reflect on the milestones achieved and to discuss the steps forward.
This one-day event presents an exceptional occasion to consider how can we further deepen our partnerships in Ukraine’s reconstruction, fight against climate change, acceleration of digital transformation and tackling other challenges ahead.
Over the past 20 years Lithuania has been a fierce promoter of democracy and rule of law, human rights, principles of good governance – the key driving forces that enable acceleration of growth and prosperity. By supporting more than 1,200 projects in more than 30 countries we have contributed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in our partner countries with a primary focus on the EU Eastern Partnership countries.
How could we do more and better? What are the strategies of major donors in building long lasting partnerships? How could Lithuania use its agility to innovate and strengths, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the global challenges?
Let‘s discuss!
