The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania has allocated EUR 50,000 in humanitarian aid to Ukraine and EUR 10,000 in humanitarian aid to Yemen.
The humanitarian system is under unprecedented strain with the UN’s highest classification for a humanitarian crisis in Yemen. Lithuania has also provided more than EUR 530,000 in humanitarian assistance to help Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict in this country.
On 23 September, the Government allocated EUR 50,000 in humanitarian aid to the World Food Programme and the International Committee of the Red Cross for Syrian refugees from the reserve on a proposal submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
