To familiarize representatives of the Bhutanese financial sector with effective cybersecurity management principles.
- Conducted practical cybersecurity training sessions for 30 representatives from the Central Bank of Bhutan and other banks, leading to improved cybersecurity resilience and knowledge in identifying cyber-attacks.
- Shared experience on establishing a cybersecurity center for the financial sector, transferring knowledge from Lithuania and other EU countries.

Deepening the experience of Bhutanese financial institutions involved in building an ecosystem in the Fintech sector.
- Bhutanese financial institutions and the Fintech community were introduced to Lithuanian Fintech sector opportunities and solutions, provided with a detailed overview of the EU and Lithuanian Fintech regulatory environment, and identified specific areas for further cooperation. The beneficiaries will be able to use the information obtained to promote the implementation of FinTech technical solutions in companies/organisations, to take decisions on improving the regulatory environment for financial services by taking advantage of international practices.
- Opportunities for further cooperation between Lithuanian and Bhutanese financial institutions have been established, further sharing of Lithuanian best practices will be carried out, and visits of Bhutanese representatives to Lithuania are planned to further get acquainted with Lithuanian achievements in the field of FinTech.
