Project results
  • Conducted a seminar for representatives of Indian IT associations and the financial sector.
  • Shared best practices from Lithuania and EU countries regarding artificial intelligence policy, regulation, and responsible artificial intelligence standards to ensure responsible, secure, and ethical development and use.
  • Provided knowledge and skills in cybersecurity risk management. Project participants will be able to apply their knowledge in implementing cybersecurity solutions in businesses and organizations.

Development Cooperation with India

The strategic objectives of Lithuania's development cooperation policy have been determined based on the needs of India, the Programme of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, and the priorities of the EU’s Policy.

Aid for India

Lithuania has been implementing development cooperation projects in India since 2021.

In 2021, two projects were implemented in India with the funds of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme, for which 10 000 euros were allocated. Projects implemented in the field of women's empowerment.

In 2022, one project was implemented in India with the funds of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme, for which 5 000 euros were allocated. Projects implemented in the field of women's empowerment.
