The strategic objectives of Lithuania's development cooperation policy have been determined based on the needs of Kyrgyzstan, the Programme of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, and the priorities of the EU’s Policy.

Aid for Kyrgyzsrtan

In 2005, one project was implemented in Kyrgyzstan with the funds of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme, for which 2 931 Litas (837,4 euros) were allocated. The project focused on strengthening administrative capacity (fighting against corruption).
