Development cooperation with Sri Lanka

The strategic objectives of Lithuania's development cooperation policy have been determined based on the needs of Sri Lanka, the Programme of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, and the priorities of the European Policy.

Assistance to Sri Lanka

Lithuania has been implementing development cooperation projects in Šri Lanka since 2021.

In 2021, one project was implemented in Sri Lanka with the funds of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme, for which 4000 euros were allocated. Project focused on administrative and institutional capacity building (digitalization).
