The main activity of Arginta is design, construction, reconstruction and extension of municipal water, wastewater and sludge treatment plants.
Basic method of municipal wastewater treatment is biological (natural) treatment process.
Biologically active sludge is used to treat wastewater. Waste sludge from wastewater treatment process is treated to receive biogas and produce electricity and heat.

During the last 30 years Arginta has accomplished more than 130 different water management projects in Lithuania and abroad, 46 of them are treatment plants construction, reconstructions and modernization projects according to contemporary technologies. Arginta’s completed sludge treatment projects total 40% of all completed sludge treatment projects in Lithuania.
Most of company’s constructed plants were under national or international public procurement, as well as “Yellow FIDIC book” (design and build) conditions. Majority of contracts include the contractor’s guaranteed treatment efficiency parameters, as well as maximum guaranteed operational costs.
From 2012, ARGINTA started exporting its technological experience.
