To construct, furnish, and reopen Mahmoodiya Primary School to provide accessible education to Qasrki village residents and residents from surrounding areas.
On 1 November, the Mahmoodiya Primary School was officially reopened in the Sinjar district of the Nineveh Governorate in northern Iraq. More than 161 students will now have the opportunity to study at the newly built six-classroom school, which is equipped with all the necessary educational tools and furniture.

Project’s aim is to help those who, due to difficult conditions, do not have access to education in their home country to acquire education in Lithuania.
- 1 visit to Iraq.
- 1 visit of project partners to Lithuania.
- Student selection process was completed and 15 students received visas or other relevant documents allowing them to come to Lithuania to study.
- 10 students' tuition fees and scholarships were effectively used and good academic results were achieved. During their studies, students were involved in volunteering activities and participated in cultural and social projects in the community.
- All students who graduated from the university got a job (most of them work in international organizations).
