To offer intensive practical training in technology, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship to fill critical skill gaps and expand employment opportunities for Palestinian women. The project's activities include preparing participants for employment by providing them with essential knowledge and skills for effective job searching, flexible self-employment, or starting their own businesses. The direct beneficiaries are the women and girls participating in the project (20).
To help students acquire practical skills in developing AI solutions, transfer new knowledge and advanced work methods, and contribute to the long-term solution to the challenges of the Palestinian economy through the application of innovative digital, data-driven technologies in the areas of investment attraction, higher added value, new jobs and creation of horizontal connections between target groups.
Economic empowerment of women (especially those unemployed) by fostering skills that enable them to create startups and/or find employment in other startups, as well as introduction to the Palestinian financial system, Israeli tax system, UNRWA, Palestine Bank, which help startups at various levels.
- 30 women acquired necessary skills (market needs analysis, marketing strategies, legal/financial aspects, digital marketing, photography, and presentation skills), prepared their business ideas to turn them into startups.
- 50% of participants, through group mentoring and educational leadership training, were acquainted with practical business administration know-how.
- 3 women received seed funding as a contribution to startup establishment.
- 20% of women created startups and/or found employment in other startups.
Economic empowerment of Palestinian (including East Jerusalem) women (especially those unemployed), through the development of entrepreneurship, communication, digital literacy, social media, networking, and technical skills necessary for sustainable work.
- 25 women enhanced their knowledge of starting a business, with 10 business plans prepared.
- Establishment of a network of at least 50 female entrepreneurs.
- At least 15 women successfully presented their business ideas.
- Mainstream environment and climate change in the national planning processes, along the operationalization of the sectoral strategies.
- Develop, validate and support the utilization of new guidelines for environment and climate change mainstreaming.

To strengthen the participation of women and girls in the labor market in the field of technology in Palestine. The focus is placed on women who are studying in colleges or universities, already working in the field of technology or those who want to retrain.
Embassy project
- The project activities provided knowledge and practical skills in technological entrepreneurship, self-development of digital businesses, and the opportunity to network with innovative digital technology businesses in EU countries, in particular start-ups and their development ecosystems.
- A digital skills development/training curriculum has been developed and transferred to the partner, which can be further used to train the target audience.
- The training provided participants with competences for careers in digital technology development.
- A hackathon was organised.
- 27 September 2022, the opening ceremony of the practical part of the project took place at the Palestinian Ministry of Telecommunications and IT.
- The project was continuously publicised to ensure Lithuania's visibility.
- The project made Lithuania known in Palestine as one of Europe's digital technology leaders.
To ensure greater access to food for women and their families living in the refugee camp; to provide women the opportunity to work and get additional income by selling products grown in a smart greenhouse; to strengthen women‘s role in the problem- solving process within their community; to increase women's self-confidence; to encourage them to develop new projects and expand their networks.
- The project provided training to participants on greenhouse smart technology management and leadership and business skills development (10 training hours, 56 participants).
- On 7 November 2022, the installed smart greenhouse was officially opened.
- During the project, the local community was made aware of the sustainable farming process.
- Sustainable use of natural resources in the smart greenhouse was ensured.
- The project was continuously publicised to ensure Lithuania's visibility (on social networks, informing the Palestinian authorities and the international donor community).
Promoting the access of Palestinian small businesswomen owners, aged between 18-35 years in the Hebron Governate in reaching sustainable livelihoods through digital cross-border marketing.
- Training in e-marketing and e-shop management was organised in Hebron, 60 women attended a training courses on "Sales and Marketing", "Quality Management", "Feasibility Analysis", "Environmental Protection and Green Business Concepts" and "Photography".
- The "Bastah" web portal (https://busta.ps) has been created.
- Digital advertising campaign for the products was created, 7 online advertisements were shared on Facebook social networking site, reaching more than 100 000 users on Facebook social networking site.
- 50 hours of consultancy services were provided to small business owners on the quality of product advertising, foreign market reach, e-commerce management, communication skills.
- 60 women entrepreneurs took part in the "Global Entrepreneurship Week" event where they had the opportunity to sell their products.
- 60 women entrepreneurs and 20 large entrepreneurs participated in the Digital Marketing Exhibition, during which 20 contracts were signed with women to buy their products.
Encouraging 40 Palestinian small business owners living in refugee camps to achieve a sustainable livelihood through digital cross-border marketing.
Diplomatic mission project
- During an event held in Al-Fawar refugee camp, women living in the refugee camp were introduced to the possibilities of e-commerce.
- Training on "Capacity development in digital marketing and e-commerce" was organised (20 training hours).
A trade fair was organised in Al-Aroub refugee camp (43 participants), showcasing women entrepreneurs, their products and the impact of digital technologies on their businesses. - 40 e-shops were created by the project participants.
- An agreement with Iradah, the first incubator for women entrepreneurs in Palestine was signed, to include the project participants in a network of small women entrepreneurs, thus ensuring their participation in various exhibitions, fairs, counselling and other support, and the sharing of good practices.
- Consultancy services were provided to the project participants (communication skills development, e-shop management, product photography, etc.).
Empowering unemployed female graduates from the Agriculture colleges from Eastern Yatta villages (Litwanah and Susiah) economically and socially by establishing and launching women's cooperative to produce and market organic honey locally and online.
Diplomatic mission project
- 25 hours training on organic honey production was organised.
- 25 hives, 15 sets of special clothing, 15 beekeeping tools, as well as honey sorting and packaging equipment and a special promotional sign were purchased for the participants.
- The project participants received 20 hours of consultancy services on beekeeping, organic honey production and marketing.
- An agreement with Iradah, the first incubator for women entrepreneurs in Palestine, for a period of one year, was signed to include the project participants in a network of small women entrepreneurs, thus ensuring their participation in various exhibitions, fairs, counselling and other assistance, and sharing of good practices.
To improve the Palestinian Authority fiscal position through improving collection of customs revenues and strengthening borders control in order to reduce evasion of customs duties.

Accelerate the economic empowerment of young Palestinian women (22-35 years old) by sharing knowledge and experience between Palestinian and Lithuanian women entrepreneurs and experts, strengthening networking, communication, digital marketing and social networking skills; to develop an information platform for cooperation between Lithuania and Palestine B2B.
To economically and socially empower women in Georgia and Palestine to overcome the consequences of post-conflict and crisis situations, and to inform Lithuanian society about the situation of women in these countries.
- Organized a forum in Lithuania (3.5 days) for women leaders from local communities in Georgia (6 individuals), Palestine (3 individuals), and Lithuania (6 individuals). During the forum, participants shared their work and activism experiences, and were empowered to educate local communities on gender equality, democratic principles, and women's political activism. They were trained to support civil society in the fields of social care and education to address the aftermath of conflicts and crises. The forum included visits to EIGE, a private Vilnius kindergarten "Nendrė," and the Kėdainiai District Municipality.
- Based on the information gathered during the forum, a short film about the situation of women in Palestine and Georgia was created and distributed on the project organizations' websites, Facebook pages, and other online platforms for educational purposes.
- Prepared and published 4 articles about the situation of civil society in the project countries, distributed on the project organizations' websites, Facebook pages, and other online portals.
- Women applied the experiences gained from the forum to their local communities and daily activism, striving for a fairer and more women-friendly society.
