Lapkričio 24 d. Užsienio reikalų ministerijoje vyks tarptautinė konferencija, kurios dalyviai iš Lietuvos, Europos Sąjungos, įvairių tarptautinių organizacijų bei institucijų apžvelgs vystomojo bendradarbiavimo pasiekimus ir galimybes viešojo, privataus ir nevyriausybinio sektoriaus atstovams įsitraukti į Lietuvos ir kitų pasaulinių donorų finansuojamas programas. Didelis dėmesys bus skirtas Ukrainos atstatymui, Lietuvos įgyvendintų projektų patirčiai ir tolesnei plėtrai aptarti.
Konferencija skirta Lietuvos vystomojo bendradarbiavimo 20-ies metų sukakčiai paminėti.
Lietuvos vystomojo bendradarbiavimo pradžia laikomi 2003 m., kai Vyriausybė patvirtino Lietuvos Respublikos plėtros ir pagalbos politikos nuostatas, numatančias geografines vystomojo bendradarbiavimo kryptis ir paramos sritis.
Per šį dvidešimtmetį Lietuva parėmė per 1200 projektų demokratijos plėtros, gero valdymo, aplinkosaugos, švietimo, kovos su dezinformacija, žaliosios transformacijos, skaitmeninimo ir kitose srityse, prisidėdama prie gerovės ir pažangos šalyse partnerėse.
